Role summary
IQVIA seeks a Medical Science Liaison based in the US Central region to advance pre-launch medical readiness for hepatitis delta virus. - Advanced degree: PharmD, MD, PhD, or relevant master's degree
- Prior Medical Science Liaison experience required
- Demonstrated credible peer-to-peer scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders
- Valid driver's license with ability to travel extensively throughout territory
- Experience in viral liver disease, hepatology, infectious disease, or HIV
- Up to 70% travel capacity including overnight stays
What you'll be doing
- Identify and map key stakeholders involved in HDV diagnosis, referral, and treatment across central US territory
- Build and maintain scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, investigators, and key opinion leaders
- Conduct compliant, high-quality scientific exchanges and communicate medical information in fair-balanced manner
- Gather, analyze, and communicate medical insights from field to support internal decision-making
- Support ECLIPSE clinical trial activities and maintain relationships with active research sites
