Role summary
Labcorp is hiring a Medical Lab Technician for the Special Chemistry Department in Dallas, Texas. The role involves performing laboratory procedures, operating instrumentation, evaluating specimens, and maintaining quality control in a clinical laboratory setting. Monday-Friday schedule, 10am-6:30pm.

- One or more years clinical laboratory testing experience (preferred)
- ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
What you'll be doing
- Assess specimen acceptability for testing per established criteria
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental standard operating procedures
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper functionality
- Document preventative maintenance, quality control procedures, and report accurate test results
- Prepare and evaluate new reagents or controls; assist with specimen processing as needed
