Role summary
Abbott seeks a Medical Educator/Diabetes Consultant for its Diabetes Care division, based in western Lower Saxony and neighboring North Rhine-Westphalia regions. The role involves developing and delivering training programs on continuous glucose and ketone monitoring to healthcare professionals, with a home-based field work structure. Position is a two-year parental leave replacement starting December 1, 2026.

- DDG Diabetes Consultant certification or comparable qualification
- Multiple years of experience in diabetes management and/or healthcare professional training
- Strong presentation, communication, and moderation skills
- Experience planning and organizing training or continuing education programs

- Good English language skills in speaking and writing
What you'll be doing
- Develop, plan, and conduct practice-oriented training programs on continuous glucose and ketone management
- Educate healthcare professionals on the clinical relevance and interpretation of glucose and ketone data
- Identify training needs and design targeted educational offerings for different professional groups
- Lead and implement medical education projects at regional and national levels
- Represent Abbott Diabetes Care at regional, national, and select international conferences and events
