Role summary
Prime Medicine seeks a physician-scientist to lead clinical development of gene editing therapeutics from preclinical stages through human trials. The medical director will develop clinical strategies, oversee trial protocols, and represent the company to regulators and key opinion leaders across multiple therapeutic areas.

What you'll be doing
- Develop clinical trial strategy for safe introduction of gene editing therapeutics into human studies
- Conceptualize and author clinical trial protocols from phase I through phase IV
- Serve as medical monitor, overseeing patient safety and analyzing trial data
- Represent clinical development on cross-functional program teams and scientific advisory boards
- Support regulatory interactions and collaborate on translational biomarkers programs
