Role summary
Baxter seeks a Material Handler for packing operations on the night shift (10:45pm-6:45am) in Marion, North Carolina. The role involves transporting, inspecting, and packing sterile medical products using powered equipment in a cleanroom environment.

- High school diploma or GED; minimum 18 years old
- One year manufacturing experience preferred
- Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operator certification or ability to obtain
- Inspector certification or ability to obtain
- Basic English written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds; push/pull up to 48 pounds
- Pass PIT physical and normal visual acuity with color distinction
What you'll be doing
- Transport sterilized bags using powered industrial trucks and manage truck rotation
- Visually inspect bags for defects, ensure proper orientation, and log discrepancies
- Operate and maintain automated packaging equipment and carton erector
- Manually unload trucks and package bags as needed; perform line clearance
- Report safety, quality, and mechanical issues; maintain clean work area per 6S principles
Compensation$21.60 an hour
