Role summary
IQVIA seeks an experienced public health professional to drive market access strategy for diagnostic products across Mozambique and Angola. The role focuses on policy navigation, stakeholder engagement, funding mobilization, and health economic evidence application to support product adoption and scale-up.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's or master's degree in public health, international development, health economics, policy, or related field
- 5–10 years' experience in public health, market access, health policy, and funding mobilization
- Demonstrated track record mobilizing alternative funding sources from donors and multilateral agencies
- Experience applying health economic evidence to inform policy and program decisions
- Deep knowledge of public health landscape in Portuguese-speaking Sub-Saharan Africa
- Strong network and established relationships with Ministries of Health and government institutions
- Fluent in Portuguese and English with willingness to travel extensively
What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute market access strategies for current and future diagnostic products
- Identify policy barriers affecting product adoption and engage stakeholders to influence health policy
- Lead advocacy efforts and generate evidence supporting favorable regulatory environments
- Identify and pursue alternative funding opportunities from donors, multilateral agencies, and public-private partnerships
- Act as focal point for engagement with Ministries of Health, donors, implementing partners, and advocacy groups
