Role summary
This role manages a team of Clinical Research Associates at a global CRO, overseeing recruitment, training, performance, and quality metrics. The manager will mentor staff, handle escalations, and ensure compliance with clinical research standards and regulations.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in biological, physical, health, pharmacy, or related science plus six years as a clinical research associate
- Two years of management experience
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and HIPAA
- Proficiency with EDC software such as InForm and Medidata
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of clinical research principles, data collection, and editing
What you'll be doing
- Interview, select, and onboard CRA and IHCRA candidates
- Train CRAs on visit types and billable monitoring activities through observation and site visits
- Conduct regular 1:1 calls to review quality metrics and project status
- Perform performance appraisals, conduct CAPAs, and manage employee relations issues
- Approve timecards, PTO requests, and non-billable expenses for assigned staff
Compensation$97,000-$222,000 annually
