Role summary

AstraZeneca seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead a growing GMP biologics site in the Netherlands. The role combines technical oversight with people leadership, bringing structured planning and reliability improvements to an established maintenance team during a period of site expansion.

5+ years in technical, maintenance, engineering, or facilities environment
Proven experience in people management and operational leadership
Strong leadership and coaching skills with ability to motivate and manage performance
Experience with preventive/corrective maintenance, planning, and contractor management
Background in regulated production environment with focus on safety and compliance
Fluency in English; Dutch language skills strongly preferred

What you'll be doing

Lead and develop maintenance team of 5 FTE and external contractors across utilities and plant systems
Establish structured maintenance planning, prioritization and execution with improved discipline
Drive reliability and asset performance by identifying recurring issues and sustainable solutions
Ensure compliance with GMP, SHE, regulatory and site standards across assigned areas
Partner with Engineering, Facilities, SHE, QA and Operations on maintenance-related projects and investigations
