Role summary

Maintenance Electrician position at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Filtration & Separation Division in Blacktown, NSW. Responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems in a GMP-regulated manufacturing facility, including automated equipment and utilities management.

What they're looking for

Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician with valid NSW unrestricted electrical license
3–5 years industrial electrician experience
Proficiency with industrial electrical systems: motors, VSD, MCC, switchboards, protection systems
PLC troubleshooting experience, primarily Allen-Bradley platforms
Competency with LOTO procedures and elevated work platform operation
Forklift license (preferred)
MEX Computerized Maintenance Management System experience (preferred)

What you'll be doing

Perform electrical preventive and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
Diagnose electrical faults and conduct root cause analysis
Support capital and process improvement projects as electrical subject matter expert
Operate and maintain automated pulp making plant, injection moulding equipment, and wastewater treatment utilities
Document all maintenance work in computerized maintenance management system
