Role summary
IQVIA seeks an experienced Clinical Project Manager to lead a team of CPMs within their cFSP model across multiple European and African locations. The role combines clinical project management expertise with line management responsibilities, coaching, and team development, suitable for established managers or high-performing senior CPMs ready for advancement.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum 5 years clinical research experience with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
- Strong clinical project management background, preferably with global study responsibility
- Experience in sponsor-dedicated/FSP model, CRO, or large pharmaceutical environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of ICH-GCP, clinical trial conduct, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Coaching, influencing, and decision-making capabilities with collaborative leadership style
What you'll be doing
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, provide coaching, feedback, and career development support to assigned CPM team
- Set performance expectations, monitor team engagement and workload, and complete competency assessments
- Lead onboarding, training, and integration of newly hired CPMs into the cFSP model
- Review resource allocation and partner with leadership on capacity planning and succession planning activities
- Produce team status reports and operational updates; represent CPM function in governance and client forums
