Role summary
Corcept Therapeutics seeks a Lead Medical Safety Physician to direct medical safety oversight across the clinical and commercial portfolio. Reporting to the VP of Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance, this physician will lead a team, conduct safety signal evaluation and benefit-risk assessments, and ensure medical integrity in safety decisions.

- Significant experience in drug safety, pharmacovigilance, or clinical development
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing medical safety teams
- Strong expertise in benefit-risk assessment and regulatory safety submissions
- Experience with signal evaluation and post-marketing safety surveillance
What you'll be doing
- Define and implement medical safety strategy across the product portfolio
- Lead, build, and develop a team of Medical Safety Physicians
- Evaluate safety signals and conduct benefit-risk assessments in partnership with safety science
- Oversee medical input into regulatory submissions including DSURs and PADERs
- Partner with clinical development and medical affairs on safety integration across product lifecycle
