What you'll be doing
- Operate automated liquid-handling platforms overnight to process overflow requests and increase laboratory throughput by approximately 2x
- Load, set up, and execute robotic system runs; perform system cleanup to optimize first-shift preparation
- Conduct overnight liquid-handler quality control using Artel across 25+ instruments and address identified repairs or maintenance
- Transport sample plates between storage, robotic systems, and downstream instruments; initiate associated runs
- Monitor robotic systems throughout the night, troubleshoot issues, and intervene hands-on to minimize downtime and protect sample integrity
