Role summary
Amgen seeks a Lab Design Project Engineer to provide technical leadership for laboratory facility planning, design, renovation, and delivery across multiple sites. The role ensures laboratory environments meet safety, compliance, functional, and scientific requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.

- Translate scientific and operational needs into design criteria, space programs, and functional layouts
- Review design packages for functionality, safety, constructability, and regulatory compliance
- Manage technical aspects of capital projects from feasibility through commissioning and occupancy
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and support design decisions
