Role summary
Junior Scrum Master position supporting Amgen's Global Commercial Operations digital and technology initiatives across the ELMAC region. - 1 to 3 years of relevant Scrum Master or Agile coordination experience
- Strong understanding of Scrum methodology and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Fluent English written and verbal communication abilities
- Certified Scrum Master or SAFe Scrum Master certification (preferred)
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in global, virtual team environments
What you'll be doing
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions
- Coach and support team adoption of Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and ceremonies
- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain prioritized backlog aligned with business priorities
- Identify, track, and resolve team impediments; escalate risks and cross-team dependencies
- Monitor sprint progress, report on team objectives, and drive continuous improvement through retrospectives
