Role summary
iRhythm seeks an Inventory & Cost Accounting Manager to oversee cost accounting processes, inventory transactions, and cost-related performance metrics. The role involves leading a global matrixed team, ensuring data integrity, collaborating cross-functionally, and supporting an ERP implementation in a fast-paced environment.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 8+ years accounting or finance experience; 5+ years cost accounting preferred
- Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data manipulation
- Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley-compliant environment and strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
- Team leadership experience and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- SAP and/or QAD ERP system knowledge preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours during month-end close for international team
What you'll be doing
- Serve as subject matter expert on manufacturing processes from raw materials through finished goods and cost of sales
- Perform monthly analytics on cost of sales, absorption, PPV, and other metrics to ensure accuracy of standards and margins
- Lead and mentor matrixed team of accountants; delegate process improvements, ad-hoc analysis, and month-end close reviews
- Establish and maintain inventory policies, processes, and BOMs; collaborate with supply chain on material master setup
- Support ERP implementation through data conversion, testing, workflow assessment, and current system documentation
