- Enrolled in bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- Legally authorized to work in China without visa sponsorship
- Proficient in Python (pandas, pydantic, scipy) or equivalent programming languages
- Strong foundation in algebra and ordinary differential equations (ODEs)
- Fluent in English and Chinese, written and verbal
- Experience with physicochemical modeling using knowledge- or data-driven approaches (preferred)
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical film coating processes (preferred)
What you'll be doing
- Conduct literature review and translate physical and chemical principles into mathematical models
- Develop and upgrade existing process models and integrate into production code
- Extract, curate, and analyze data from multiple sources to validate model performance
- Convert models into user-friendly applications and deploy on designated platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners on process improvement initiatives
