Role summary
Medtronic seeks an advanced engineering student for a temporary graduate internship supporting new product introduction and manufacturing engineering in Costa Rica. The role involves technical documentation, MES configuration support, and CNC process development within a structured entry-level environment.
What they're looking for
- Advanced student in electronics, mechanical, electromechanical, industrial, or mechatronics engineering
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of MES systems, SAP, or digital manufacturing tools preferred
- SolidWorks and CNC experience preferred but not required
What you'll be doing
- Support MES system configurations and software updates
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering team with documentation and technical projects
- Support CNC new product development processes and technical documentation creation
- Maintain tooling, fixture, setup sheet, and manufacturing instruction documentation
- Track material extensions and organize project deliverables for NPI activities
