- Graduate degree or major in Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related quantitative field preferred
- Experience with stochastic programming, optimization solvers (Gurobi, Pyomo), or machine learning libraries (XGBoost, Keras, PyTorch)
- Familiarity with clinical trial operations, drug development, or healthcare data analysis preferred
What you'll be doing
- Develop stochastic optimization models for drug portfolio composition and investment allocation decisions
- Investigate advanced optimization approaches and large-scale mathematical programming to improve model scalability
- Build and evaluate machine learning predictive models for clinical trial enrollment forecasting
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Data Engineering, and AI Research teams to translate analyses into recommendations
- Validate models using historical data and deliver final presentation of internship work
Compensation$20.00 - $55.00 hourly; housing stipends available for eligible employees
