Role summary
LGC Standards seeks an Inside Sales Specialist to drive new business growth across Balkans, Eastern Europe, and Middle East territories. The role encompasses the full sales cycle—from lead generation and prospecting to deal closure and account management—with focus on pharma, biotech, environmental, food, and clinical markets.

- Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, or related scientific discipline
- Proven experience selling laboratory, scientific, or technical products
- Track record of achieving new business development and sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce
- Fluent English; additional European languages preferred
- Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 15%
What you'll be doing
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities within assigned territory
- Develop and maintain sales pipeline through prospecting and customer outreach
- Execute complete sales cycle from initial contact through deal closure
- Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing customer accounts
- Partner with Marketing and Scientific teams to deliver solutions to market
