Role summary
LGC Standards seeks an Inside Sales Specialist to drive new business growth across Balkans, Eastern Europe, and Middle East regions. The role involves prospecting, qualifying leads, managing full sales cycles, and expanding customer relationships within pharmaceutical, biotech, environmental, food, and clinical markets.

- Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, or related scientific discipline
- Experience selling laboratory, scientific, or technical products
- Track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets
- Strong prospecting, qualification, and opportunity identification skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Fluent English; additional European languages preferred
- Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 15%
What you'll be doing
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation
- Qualify and convert marketing-generated and self-sourced leads into customers
- Manage complete sales cycles from initial contact through negotiation and closure
- Build and maintain relationships with customers across multiple industry sectors
- Identify upsell opportunities and introduce additional LGC solutions to existing clients
