Role summary
Amgen seeks an experienced HEOR professional to lead health economics and outcomes research strategy for oncology assets across their lifecycle. The role involves generating payer-relevant evidence, developing health technology assessment materials, and coordinating globally with internal teams and external experts to support patient access initiatives.
What they're looking for
- Doctorate degree plus 2 years HEOR experience, or Master's plus 4 years, or Bachelor's plus 6 years
- Health economics training through academic or on-the-job experience
- Experience writing research protocols and publications
- Knowledge of payer-relevant evidence development including real-world evidence
- Proficiency designing PRO and clinical outcomes assessment strategies
- Understanding of HTA requirements and experience developing Global Value Dossiers
- Experience developing economic models and predictive analytics
What you'll be doing
- Implement global HEOR strategy aligned with Access Strategy Lead for oncology assets
- Generate payer-relevant evidence including patient-reported outcomes and clinical outcomes assessment
- Deliver HTA submission materials including Global Value Dossiers and economic models
- Translate strategic objectives into HEOR project plans with cross-functional execution
- Engage internal teams and external vendors to validate HEOR strategy and technical approach
