Role summary
Medtronic seeks a Global Trade Analyst to manage product classification and customs compliance globally. - Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- International trade function experience preferred
- Commodity classification experience preferred
What you'll be doing
- Classify products according to global HS, local HTS, and ECCN requirements and customs rules
- Release blocked orders in SAP and identify items requiring export or re-export licenses
- Research global classification rules and precedents; create standard customs descriptions with rationale
- Maintain records and documentation supporting classification decisions within service level agreement timelines
- Collaborate with functional area experts and global trade teams to identify process improvement opportunities
