Role summary
Amgen seeks a Global Safety Medical Director for oncology products to establish pharmacovigilance strategy and oversee the safety profile of assigned therapeutics. The role leads cross-functional safety teams and manages clinical trial safety, regulatory filings, risk communication, and commercialization processes. An MD/DO with medical residency and preferred industry global safety experience in oncology is required.

What you'll be doing
- Establish pharmacovigilance strategy, direction, and priorities for assigned oncology products
- Lead Safety Analysis Team, Global Safety Team, and serve on Executive Safety Committee
- Manage benefit-risk evaluation and risk communication strategies
- Oversee clinical trial safety and regulatory filings for new drug applications
- Coordinate with licensing partners on safety matters and documentation
