Role summary
Johnson & Johnson seeks a co-op student for a full-time Global Planning supply chain role in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, running January through December 2027. The position focuses on process improvement initiatives, report generation, and operational support for the Global Planning department.
What they're looking for
- Completed freshman year at accredited university; currently pursuing bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or Materials Management
- Cumulative GPA of 4.2 or higher across all college coursework
- At least fourth year of college enrollment; enrolled during internship period
- Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Permanent U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship required now or in future
- Student association membership or extracurricular involvement in related field
- Prior internship, co-op, or academic research experience preferred; pharmaceutical industry experience a plus
What you'll be doing
- Support process improvement initiatives using JJPS, Lean Manufacturing, and other methodologies
- Participate in and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement training activities
- Generate system reports and maintain documentation to support site shipments and planning
- Assist with capacity analysis, master data revision, project management, and scheduling optimization
