Abbott seeks a Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research Lead to direct HEOR strategy and evidence generation for the Infectious Disease Rapid Diagnostics portfolio. This role partners across functions to develop economic models, real-world evidence studies, and reimbursement strategies supporting global market access and clinical outcomes.

What they're looking for

Advanced degree in health economics or related field
Minimum 10 years HEOR, Market Access, or health policy experience in pharma, MedTech, consulting, or CRO
Proven success designing, implementing, and publishing HEOR and RWE studies influencing reimbursement outcomes
Deep knowledge of HTA processes, payer requirements, and healthcare financing systems in US, EU, and global markets
Strong record engaging external stakeholders including HTAs, payers, KOLs, and academic partners
Experience leading cross-functional and international projects with excellent communication skills

What you'll be doing

Define and lead global HEOR and real-world evidence strategy aligned with business priorities across diagnostic products
Design and oversee health economic modeling, outcomes research, and RWE studies demonstrating clinical and economic value
Lead evidence synthesis including systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and indirect treatment comparisons across portfolio
Partner with Market Access, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to align evidence strategies with product objectives
Lead HEOR publication strategy and translate complex findings into actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders
