Role summary
This role embeds an AI engineer within business domains to identify workflows that can be dramatically accelerated using AI agents and automation. The engineer designs, builds, and operates these solutions in production, connecting them to enterprise systems while maintaining performance tracking and human oversight checkpoints.
What they're looking for
- Proficiency with CLIs, APIs, webhooks, SQL, and Python scripting
- Working knowledge of LLM behavior, prompting, RAG, MCP, and agent failure modes
- Comfortable with cloud platforms and elevated access management
- Strong technical judgment with outcome-focused and KPI-driven thinking
- Experience with enterprise agentic platforms or direct model API integration
What you'll be doing
- Map workflows across business domains and identify AI automation opportunities for 10-100x efficiency gains
- Design and deploy AI agents and automation pipelines connecting to business systems via APIs and integrations
- Configure prompts, retrieval pipelines, and tool access to enable reliable agent performance in production
- Monitor agent performance, build evaluation frameworks, and iterate on workflows based on production metrics
- Partner with domain leadership to prioritize initiatives and communicate technical trade-offs to business stakeholders
