Abbott seeks a Finished Product & Stability Analyst Chemist for a temporary six-month project at its Mexico City facility. - Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemist Biologist, Industrial Pharmaceutical Chemist, or related scientific discipline
- Minimum 3 years recent experience in physicochemical quality control, finished product testing, or stability studies
- Hands-on experience with HPLC analysis, dissolution testing, and analytical instrumentation
- Advanced technical English proficiency, written and spoken
- Availability to work evening shifts Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday (1:30 PM - 9:30 PM)
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills
What you'll be doing
- Analyze in-process and finished product samples, stability samples, and special samples using established procedures
- Prepare analytical solutions and execute method validations, co-validations, verifications, and transfers
- Report analytical results and prepare protocols for method validation and analytical method transfers
- Conduct laboratory investigations and prepare investigation reports and exception reports
- Maintain compliance with GLP, GMP requirements, and current analytical procedures
