Role summary
Senior Manager leading JAPAC finance operations for Amgen India, overseeing financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting for the Japan-Asia-Pacific region. Reports to the Director of FP&A and manages teams responsible for budget management, financial controls, and stakeholder reporting.
What they're looking for
- Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, CPA, or Master's in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration
- 12+ years progressive experience in FP&A, G&A Finance, or related finance discipline
- Proven team leadership and multi-timezone environment management experience
- Financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning expertise
- Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry background preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, Anaplan, Hyperion, and Power BI reporting tools
What you'll be doing
- Lead FP&A and Finance & Administration team based in India supporting JAPAC region
- Oversee planning cycles including forecasts, budgets, consolidations, and quarterly business reviews
- Develop and maintain management reporting dashboards, sales reports, and performance analyses
- Coordinate regional financial close, consolidation, and statutory reporting activities
- Support finance reviews of distributor claims, margins, pricing, and contract management
