Role summary
Field Reimbursement Manager supporting Amgen's Respiratory business unit across Illinois. This role manages patient access and reimbursement within a defined geographic territory, coordinating coverage issues, educating healthcare providers on payer policies, and resolving patient-level reimbursement challenges.

- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years customer service/leadership experience, or equivalent education/experience combination
- Minimum 2 years experience in third-party access, managed care, clinical support, or pharmaceutical industry
- Strong medical reimbursement experience and specialty pharmacy knowledge
- Proven presentation, facilitation, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience with commercial payers, Medicare, and state Medicaid programs
- Direct experience with billing, coding, appeals, and hub-based reimbursement processes
- Reside in Illinois geography or within 10 miles of state border
What you'll be doing
- Manage defined accounts and execute territorial strategic plans for patient access and reimbursement
- Provide one-on-one coverage support from physician order through prior authorization, appeals, and claims resolution
- Educate healthcare providers on private and public payer coverage changes affecting product access
- Review patient insurance benefits and coordinate access issues with relevant internal partners
- Conduct office-based education on formulary coverage, utilization management, and financial assistance programs
