Role summary
Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Field Clinical Specialist to support Pascal mitral valve repair cases across Oregon, Alaska, and Boise. The role involves clinical training, device expertise, and on-site guidance during cardiac procedures in hospital settings.
What they're looking for
- Associate's degree in related field plus five years medical device and/or clinical experience
- Medical device industry experience or equivalent work experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to travel up to 75% including overnight trips
- Interventional cardiology or cardiac catheterization lab background preferred
- Clinical credential such as RDCS, RN, PA-C, RCIS, or similar preferred
- Interventional echo-navigation expertise with 2D/3D TEE preferred
What you'll be doing
- Educate physicians on device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting for mitral valve repair procedures
- Coordinate one-on-one training sessions and in-service programs within hospital environments
- Provide real-time guidance and support during clinical implants and address procedural complications
- Identify therapy adoption opportunities and collaborate with sales teams and hospital staff
- Document procedural observations for regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives
