Role summary
Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Field Clinical Specialist to train healthcare professionals on transcatheter heart valve technology in Central and North Florida. The role combines clinical expertise with field support, focusing on procedure training, device preparation, and customer education to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
What they're looking for
- Associate degree in nursing or related field, or equivalent medical device experience
- Minimum five years in medical device, TAVR/TVAR, cath lab, or acute care clinical settings
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Cardiac surgery or interventional cardiology clinical background strongly preferred
- Ability to travel extensively, approximately 60-70% of the time
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work autonomously
- Medical training to technician or nurse level highly preferred
What you'll be doing
- Conduct clinical training on valve crimping, case management, and pre/post-case procedures for site teams
- Prepare and crimp Sapien valves during implant procedures to support physicians
- Develop clinical champions and growth strategies within assigned accounts with sales partnership
- Implement educational materials and validate software/hardware updates in field settings
- Plan and execute physician and support staff training sessions across assigned territory
