Role summary
Leica Biosystems seeks a Field Applications Specialist to provide technical support for automated histology instrumentation and reagents across an assigned territory in the East region. The role combines customer training, equipment installation, and sales support while working remotely from North Carolina.

What you'll be doing
- Support regional sales goals for instrumentation and consumables monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Perform installation, evaluation, qualification, and optimization of equipment with supervision
- Conduct technical investigations in coordination with Technical Service and Applications teams
- Provide post-purchase applications support and customer training in the field
- Document and respond to equipment-related issues with appropriate follow-up
