Role summary
Insmed seeks a Field Access Manager for its Patient Services team covering Baton Rouge, LA and Jackson, MS. What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years hands-on experience in reimbursement, patient access, market access, specialty pharmacy, or physician/system account management
- Experience navigating payer reimbursement processes, preferably Medicare Part D
- Experience with specialty products through specialty pharmacy networks and HCP offices
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and state patient privacy laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication skills
What you'll be doing
- Resolve patient-specific access barriers to Insmed products as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Educate healthcare provider office staff on prior authorization, appeals processes, forms, and reimbursement procedures
- Identify and resolve patient access and reimbursement issues within assigned geography
- Monitor patient start trends and collaborate with Market Access team to address emerging access challenges
- Maintain current repository of plan-specific reimbursement criteria, forms, and submission procedures
