Role summary
Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks an External Manufacturing Account Manager in San Jose, CA to oversee supply chain and manufacturing operations for bronchoscopy robotic system components. - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Plastics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- Minimum 8 years experience in catheter/extrusion manufacturing, equipment development, or medical device supply chain
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute manufacturing and supply chain strategies
- Experience in supplier management, negotiations, and leading cross-functional initiatives
- Background launching new products and ensuring supply chain readiness
- FPX certification, Project Management certification, or equivalent experience
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
What you'll be doing
- Own account management for Costa Rica external manufacturing partnership and global suppliers
- Drive communication governance and change management processes with external manufacturers
- Serve as primary escalation point for quality, cost, and business continuity issues
- Lead SCAPA/CAPA investigations and failure analysis for manufacturing defects
- Manage lifecycle changes and support supplier negotiations using data-driven approaches
