Role summary
Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks an Executive Medical Director for Clinical Development in Immunology to lead the clinical strategy for povetacicept and shape the broader immunology portfolio. - Knowledge of biostatistics, data management, clinical operations, and pharmacology
- IND and NDA filing and defense experience in US and international markets
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
What you'll be doing
- Serve as primary physician voice for povetacicept franchise and immunology portfolio decisions
- Design, plan, and oversee global clinical development activities and protocol development
- Lead cross-functional meetings and represent clinical development across research, regulatory, and commercial functions
- Interface with international regulatory authorities and support regulatory submissions and compliance
- Manage medical monitoring, adverse event evaluation, and data reviews for clinical studies
