Merck seeks an Executive Director to lead global public policy strategy and advocacy for vaccines and infectious disease programs.   • Demonstrated strategic thought leadership and ability to counsel senior executives on policy and geopolitical issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with public speaking and executive briefing experience

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and execute global vaccine and infectious disease policy strategy aligned with franchise and enterprise objectives
  • Lead cross-franchise policy team, fostering organizational effectiveness and high-performance culture across regions
  • Provide strategic guidance to regional and country policy teams on vaccine and infectious disease policy advancement
  • Manage internal and external policy engagement with governments, trade associations, multilateral organizations, and civil society
  • Serve as trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership on evolving policy, geopolitical, public health, and access developments
