Role summary
Gilead Sciences seeks an Executive Director of Clinical Development with an MD to lead cell therapy programs in multiple myeloma. The role encompasses clinical trial oversight, development strategy, regulatory interactions, and cross-functional leadership within a portfolio-based structure.

- MD or DO degree with relevant clinical, scientific, or drug development experience
- Board certification in hematology and/or medical oncology preferred
- Biopharma industry experience with phase 2-3 late-stage development studies
- Multiple myeloma and cellular therapy therapeutic area expertise strongly preferred
- Multiple years of direct line management and team leadership experience
- Expertise in pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and clinical trial conduct
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex drug development strategies
What you'll be doing
- Design, conduct, oversee, and report on clinical trial portfolio across cell therapy programs
- Develop and implement clinical development strategy including Target Product Profile and Clinical Development Plan
- Lead cross-functional teams and represent products in steering and governance committees
- Oversee medical monitoring, protocol design, and clinical study reporting for assigned molecules
- Lead communications with health authorities and manage regulatory documentation preparation
