Role summary
Medtronic seeks an EP Mapping Specialist to provide clinical and technical support for cardiac mapping and ablation systems across New Jersey. This remote-based role requires territory travel to deliver physician training, customer education, and sales support for electrophysiology products.
What they're looking for
- High school diploma plus 6+ years cardiac mapping and navigation experience, or Associate degree with 4+ years, or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance with acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel 25-50% within assigned territory and occasionally overnight
- Physical capability to stand, sit, walk 8 hours daily and navigate clinical facilities
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing, cardiovascular sciences, or technical discipline; cardiac lab or EP medical sales background
What you'll be doing
- Provide clinical and technical training to physicians and hospital staff on EP mapping systems and cardiac ablation solutions
- Promote safe and effective use of Medtronic products and educate on related procedures and technical matters
- Support regional sales objectives and develop customer relationships to grow incremental business
- Serve as regional champion to share expertise and influence clinical team proficiency with mapping technology
- Collaborate with Account Manager and sales team to identify opportunities and conduct customer training sessions
