Role summary
Distribution Specialist managing day-to-day operations at a distribution center for a life sciences company. This hands-on role oversees order fulfillment, SLA adherence, issue resolution, and performance management while collaborating with 3PL partners and internal teams.

- 3–6 years distribution, warehousing, or logistics operations experience
- Hands-on experience managing warehouse performance, SLAs, and operational issue resolution
- Cross-functional collaboration experience with customer service, transportation, and commercial teams
- Strong execution mindset and ability to manage multiple real-time issues
- Data-driven problem-solving and performance management approach
- WMS and warehouse reporting tools experience preferred
What you'll be doing
- Serve as first point of contact for customer and commercial escalations related to distribution operations
- Own real-time operational escalations including warehouse delays, inventory discrepancies, and execution failures
- Drive on-time, in-full execution and monitor daily operational performance against SLAs
- Track and analyze key warehouse KPIs including delivery timeliness, pick accuracy, and labor productivity
- Partner with 3PL operators on staffing, training, and shift coverage aligned with volume forecasts
