Role summary

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Director to lead Portfolio Insights and Analysis for the Global Commercial Strategy Organization. The role will develop competitive intelligence and market research capabilities to inform portfolio decisions, support strategic planning, and provide leadership with independent cross-portfolio perspectives.

Bachelor's degree minimum; advanced degree in business, quantitative, or life sciences preferred
10+ years experience in analytics, insights, forecasting, market research, or competitive intelligence
5+ years leadership experience developing insights, analytics, or commercial strategy
Broad understanding of pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development, regulatory strategy, and competitive dynamics
Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and lead cross-functional teams
3-5 years leading primary market research or competitive intelligence projects (preferred)
Experience in pharmaceutical asset valuation and pre-launch planning (preferred)

What you'll be doing

Lead global insights center generating strategic insights for Innovative Medicine portfolio to support financial planning and business reviews
Deliver competitive intelligence and market insights to support GOC and GCSO strategic decision-making
Advance technology roadmap and integrate emerging AI capabilities to generate portfolio insights in partnership with Therapeutic Areas
Develop Global Insights Roadmap and playbook with Commercialization Excellence to support clinical pipeline innovation
Consolidate inputs and develop scenario analyses for senior management reviews, facilitating connectivity across GCSO, regions, and functions
