Role summary
Director-level role leading business process improvement initiatives across Leica Biosystems' supply chain, operations, and customer care functions. Will drive continuous improvement using Danaher Business System principles, Lean methodology, and structured problem-solving to deliver measurable gains in quality, delivery, cost, and customer experience.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Science, or related field
- 7+ years leading continuous improvement, Lean, or business transformation initiatives
- Hands-on experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies in transactional or business process environments
- Proven ability to partner strategically with leaders, influence without authority, and deliver measurable improvements
- High degree of independence assessing complex processes and leading sustainable improvement execution
- Experience in supply chain, customer support, production planning, or logistics process improvements (preferred)
What you'll be doing
- Lead cross-functional Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives to drive Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Customer Experience gains
- Partner with business leaders to identify improvement opportunities and support achievement of strategic objectives
- Coach and mentor associates and leaders in DBS fundamentals, Standard Work, Daily Management, and Value Stream Mapping
- Establish sustainable operating mechanisms through Daily Management, visual performance management, and governance processes
- Influence across functions as trusted advisor to scale continuous improvement culture and best practices
