Role summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Director to architect an enterprise agentic orchestration platform that coordinates personalized healthcare provider engagement across multiple channels. This strategic initiative will establish a reusable, BMS-owned foundation for dynamic customer journey generation and execution grounded in commercial priorities and compliance guardrails.

Deep expertise in multi-agent architecture, decomposition patterns, and human-in-the-loop controls
Hands-on experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or LangChain
Strong knowledge of context engineering, prompt management, retrieval-augmented generation, and agent memory
Experience with rules engines, constraint-based decisioning, and optimization models
Understanding of decisioning methods including contextual bandits, reinforcement learning, and mathematical optimization

What you'll be doing

Own end-to-end orchestration architecture including journey generation, cross-channel optimization, execution, and continuous learning
Define agent responsibilities, tool access, decision rights, escalation paths, and interaction patterns
Establish technical acceptance criteria, engineering standards, and evaluation frameworks for journey quality and business outcomes
Ensure explainability, traceability, compliance, and reproducibility of all recommendations and actions
Drive knowledge transfer and BMS ownership of orchestration logic while avoiding dependency on external partners or proprietary frameworks
