Role summary
Disc Medicine seeks a Director of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics to lead clinical pharmacology strategy across multiple programs in hematologic disease development. What they're looking for
- PhD in clinical pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, or drug metabolism
- More than 10 years of industry experience as a clinical pharmacologist
- Demonstrated experience designing clinical pharmacology studies and analyzing PKPD or population PK data
- Working knowledge of drug metabolism and drug-drug interactions, or biologics and large molecule development
- Familiarity with clinical pharmacology regulatory guidance documents
- Experience with regulatory agency interactions, IND packages, and written regulatory responses
What you'll be doing
- Lead clinical pharmacology strategy for multiple development programs and cross-functional teams
- Design, execute, analyze, and interpret first-in-human, drug-drug interaction, biopharmaceutics, and ADME studies
- Oversee clinical pharmacology work performed by internal teams and contract research organizations
- Represent clinical pharmacology in regulatory interactions and prepare regulatory documentation
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with clinical operations, development, nonclinical, biostatistics, and regulatory partners
