Role summary

AstraZeneca seeks a Director to lead the Agentic AI Platform for its China R&D organization. This role owns the product vision, roadmap, and delivery of an AI platform serving scientists across China operations, requiring navigation of cross-functional stakeholders and alignment with enterprise AI strategy.

8+ years in science-based technical product management or AI/ML development

Strong requirements engineering expertise following lean and agile principles, including scrum experience
Fluent Mandarin with ability to work on-site in Shanghai or Beijing
Knowledge of R&D, data science, informatics, and biotech/pharma system development
Familiarity with China data regulations (PIPL, DSL, cross-border data transfer) is desirable

What you'll be doing

Identify and prioritize R&D problems the Agentic AI platform will solve through customer engagement
Develop and own product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to China R&D and enterprise priorities
Drive execution and delivery of use cases from concept through production using lean and agile methods
Define success metrics, measure platform impact, and refine roadmap based on results
Interface across China R&D, Business Development, and global Enterprise AI to ensure strategic alignment
