Role summary
IQVIA seeks a DevOps Engineer for its Warsaw office to manage Linux infrastructure, automation, and systems operations. The role requires extensive experience with Linux administration, infrastructure automation, and monitoring in a 24/7 support environment.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technical discipline
- 5+ years hands-on Linux system administration (Oracle Linux, RHEL, CentOS)
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, and/or Go scripting and programming
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Puppet, Ansible, Foreman, or Katello
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools and git-based version control
- Knowledge of virtualization (VMware), identity management (Centrify, Windows AD), and database systems
What you'll be doing
- Administer and maintain Linux-based infrastructure systems in production environments
- Develop and execute automation solutions to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to address bottlenecks
- Support 24/7 operations with follow-the-sun coverage model
- Lead infrastructure projects from design through implementation and optimization
Compensation155,600 zł - 289,200 zł base annual salary
