Role summary

Medtronic seeks a Clinical Specialist for its Neurovascular unit in Louisiana to develop markets, support physicians, and drive sales of endovascular stroke and aneurysm treatment technologies. This field-based role requires territory residence, extensive driving, and clinical expertise in neurovascular interventions.

What they're looking for

  • High school diploma plus 6+ years relevant experience, or associate degree plus 4+ years, or bachelor degree plus 2+ years in medical devices or healthcare
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and active vehicle insurance
  • Ability to drive approximately 60% of time within territory and travel overnight as needed
  • Medical device sales experience in neurovascular space preferred
  • Clinical experience in interventional suite, cath lab, or hospital operating environment preferred
  • Strong project management and marketing program coordination skills
  • Proficiency with medical terminology and understanding of device industry practices

What you'll be doing

  • Identify and pursue market development opportunities and patient awareness campaigns across assigned Louisiana territory
  • Provide clinical and technical support for neurovascular procedures; educate physicians on product use and clinical data
  • Coordinate physician training, product in-services, and educational programs with marketing and clinical teams
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with physicians, surgeons, nurses, key opinion leaders, and distributors
  • Assess customer needs and feedback; communicate product modification recommendations to internal teams including R&D
