Role summary
Medtronic seeks a Clinical Specialist for their Cranial & Spinal Technologies division in Miami to provide technical and clinical support for neurosurgery and robotic-assisted surgery products. - High school diploma or GED with 6+ years clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience
- Or associate's degree with 4+ years relevant clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience
- Valid driver's license and ability to reside within territory
- UNIX/LINUX command proficiency for system file modification
- Strong customer relationship building and training capabilities
- Knowledge of surgical technology platforms and quality system compliance
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate on-site installations and provide technical assistance during technology-enabled surgical procedures
- Maintain, install, and upgrade system hardware and software; perform preventative maintenance
- Educate and train physicians, surgeons, and hospital staff on technical procedures and equipment operation
- Serve as primary customer liaison for technical support, repair issues, and service contract obligations
- Document installations, file weekly site visit reports, and communicate customer concerns and market opportunities to district teams
