- Evaluate specimen acceptability according to established quality criteria
- Perform routine and complex technical testing procedures following departmental protocols
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
- Prepare and evaluate new reagents and controls; document quality control procedures
- Report test results accurately and timely to support patient care
