Role summary
Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee in Burlington, NC to perform routine and complex laboratory procedures, operate instrumentation, and ensure quality control. Full training provided for qualified candidates; Friday-Tuesday schedule, 8:30am-5:00pm.

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification preferred
- 3+ months clinical laboratory testing experience preferred
- Proficient with computers and laboratory information systems
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
What you'll be doing
- Evaluate specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex technical procedures per SOPs
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper function
- Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents and controls
- Perform preventative maintenance, quality control procedures, and document results
- Maintain safe work environment and manage testing bench supplies
