What you'll be doing

Perform tissue culture, harvesting, slide preparation, banding, automated karyotyping, and FISH procedures
Evaluate specimen acceptability and execute technical procedures per departmental protocols
Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper function
Document quality control and preventive maintenance; prepare and evaluate new reagents
Report timely test results and maintain safe work environment with appropriate safety practices
